Low Calorie foods

Here is a list of mostly fruits and vegetables that have very low calorie content (and still fill you up).  
 
* apples
* asparagus
* beets
* blueberries
* cabbage
* cantelopes
* carrots
* celery
* chicory
* chili peppers
* cranberries
* cucumbers
* dandelions
* endives
* garden cress
* garlic
* grapefruit
* green beans
* lemons
* lettuce
* mangos
* mangos
* onions

When I finally decided it was time to lose some extra weight and get back in shape, I didn't know where to begin or exactly what I should be eating. There are so many fad diets available and I did get sidetracked on the low-carb/Atkins diet, only to quickly discover that it wasn't for me.
 
A few years ago, I found a website that helped me understand what it takes to lose weight and gave me the motivation to do it. I have looked for it again for my own benefit and that of our readers -- unfortunately, I cannot find it. I did include all that I learned and listed what worked for my diet on our weight loss tips page so hopefully it can help you too.
 
Taking it from there, it would have been much easier to lose weight if I had known right from the start just what foods were low calorie and low fat, and what to combine for meals. We all know that most fruits and vegetables are beneficial, so this list excludes most of them.

I always love to eat different food due to which I was putting weight. So now I have decided to take low calorie foods only.

I think this is also good for our skin since most of the low calorie foods are vegetables and fruits

Low calorie food is always good for health especially if you are obese and want to slim down. But that does not mean you will starve yourself to death or opt for crash diets. You should get the daily nutrients so that you can stay healthy as well as lose weight effectively.
 
Low calorie food in your diet means that you limit your calorie intake between 900-1300 calories every day. Those who suffer from obesity should have very low calorie diet and one should consume a maximum of 800 calories each day.
 
Intake of Calories is necessary because it provides fuel to our body. So if you want to keep that svelte body of yours or change your body into one and maintain your health as well then you should have low calorie food. There are a lot of benefits if you are having low calorie food. Having a low calorie diet is very good especially if you have a tendency to put on weight.
 
One should eat well and exercise so that they maintain their health and body. Just eating health and without any exercise it is not going to help you much. So keep your diet balanced and low in calorie exercise so that you can fight obesity and stay in shape.

Prepackaged, frozen meals - Weight Watchers has "Smart Ones," there's Lean Cuisine, Healthy Choice, and now the South Beach diet. I buy whatever looks good and/or is on sale, not because I am following a particular diet. These foods are healthy and offer variety.
 
Canned soup - Read the labels. Companies usually list more than one serving per can, so the calories and sodium are more that what you see at first glance. Healthy soups are costlier but the cans are larger and they're chunkier. Regular soup is fine as long as you keep track of calories, fat calories, and sodium.
 
Fat-Free hot dogs or chicken patties - These take some getting used to but they're filling and guilt-free. Some brands are unpalatable and simply not worth the extra money.
